What year did you graduate? (Or what year would you have graduated?)
1999
What do you do now?
I teach Biology at a project-based high school just outside of Austin, TX... It's an alternative school (i.e., it's public and there are no admission requirements) and it's a bit experimental. We just got a really nice write-up here (I'm the Biology teacher mentioned in there, gosh): http://www.utdanacenter.org/tcstem/manornths.php
How I got here:
I finished UF in 2003 with a B.S. in Zoology and a minor in Latin; I came to Austin to get a phD, but I spent way too much time teaching and doing outreach in public schools, so I left with a master's in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior (mostly Entomology and insect-plant evolution) and went into a teaching program. I got certified for composite science (Bio, Chem, Physics, Geology, Astronomy) in 2006, and I added English as a second language certification this year.

And I, no Sara news. Glad to hear you are doing well - teaching biology, sounds great & summers to do as you please ... good choice! Any plans for a JVille visit anytime soon. As Lindsay said on someone's post, we should do a little reunion, maybe we can get Chelsea's mom to make us her famous veggie lasagna :)
Hey you!!! Of all the people I've lost touch with, you're one of the people I truly miss hanging with...ah assling. It's awesome you live in Austin. I was just there presenting at a conference, wish I had known about this earlier. Let's reunite sometime.
Sara! Hey! Good to see you on here too. I was just in Austin a couple months ago. How do you like it there? It was a little dry for me, but interesting place.
I miss running into you too, and driving out to the prairie and chowing down at waffle house til the wee hours of the morning! Holy crap...you have a pic of me skinning a cat in A.P. Bio! I should have followed through with my scientific interests. ArchiTORTURE blows most of the time! How are things with you these days?
