After high school I got a music degree from FSU, met my husband Neil (c/o 1998) and ended up studying fashion design instead. After a masters degree in fashion, I was suckered into getting a PhD to complete the set. I now teach clothing and textile courses at Kansas State University. I specialize in the sizing and fit of clothing, functional design and computer aided design tools. Manhattan Kansas isn't exactly a big city, but I haven't met Dorothy, there aren't many cornfields, and there are beautiful hills, lakes and such.
My husband and I adore our rescue greyhound Nikita. We are computer geeks, internet gamers, and avid sci-fi/fantasy fans.
