In the fall of 1985 Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Florida began it's fine tradition of excellence in the arts. Known as "The Fame School" the students, faculty and administration became an arts family preparing the way for many more art enthusiasts to continue the journey. Each year Douglas Anderson continues to produce some of the finest, most dedicated artists in the southeast. Each and every graduate helps pave the way for the future of the school's ever growing success. The DASOTA Alumni Association exists to support graduates and former students of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts by providing college scholarships to graduates, and through the establishment of a social network to allow alumni to keep in contact with each other.
